The 7,500-square-foot cottage features seven bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms spread across three levels. White walls and ceilings are complemented by Douglas fir beams and columns, while custom water-cut tiles and scribed 5-point Muskoka flagstone seamlessly link the interior with exterior patios.

The centerpiece is the vaulted great room and dining area, anchored by a custom porcelain slab-clad fireplace. A commissioned metal map of the Muskoka Lakes and a ginkgo-leaf chandelier provide unique, artistic touches. Every detail supports the lifestyle of a young, growing family who loves the outdoors and entertaining.

The result is a warm, timeless retreat that blends traditional Muskoka charm with contemporary design, perfectly suited for lakeside living and unforgettable summer gatherings.

What We Love About This Home
This stunning Muskoka retreat shows how dark, dramatic exteriors can feel just as warm and welcoming as any traditional cottage, with its natural timber, large windows, and a lakeside setting. Inside, the vaulted great room combines grandeur with livability, while artistic touches such as the commissioned Muskoka Lakes map and ginkgo-leaf chandelier make the space feel deeply personal. From the navy-and-brass kitchen to the serene owner’s bedroom suite with its lake views, every room reflects a family-centered vision of modern cottage life.
