Serene Stinson Beach home getaway embraces spectacular ocean views

Arrowood Design has reimagined this beach home boasting incredible seaside views along beautiful Stinson Beach, just 2o miles from San Francisco, California. The house provides a weekend getaway for a professional couple who resides full-time in San Francisco. They were seeking a place for complete relaxation and bountiful ocean vistas. They purchased a three-bedroom, three-bath— 2,225-square-foot ranch house, built in 1962. The home already had views, but needed to be updated to meet their lifestyle needs.

A full gut renovation was completed on the kitchen and bathrooms, ceiling trusses were exposed and new flooring was added throughout. Casual yet elegant furnishings and accessories grace the living spaces, creating a warm and welcoming living environment. Furnishings include flea market and vintage store finds mixed in with contemporary furnishings to create a relaxing atmosphere.

What We Love: This stylish Stinson Beach home offers comfortable living spaces and beautiful views that are peaceful and relaxing. The conversion is fantastic, from an open and spacious interior layout to exposed ceiling beams and new flooring materials. This is the perfect weekend retreat, but we could imagine spending year-round luxuriating in this beach-chic living environment… and lounging on that deck with sunsets over the ocean would be heavenly!

Tell Us: What do you think, would this be your idea of the perfect weekend retreat? Are there any details in the design that you would change? Let us know in the Comments below!

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the limestone floors and counter tops, and I love the mix of old and new of the furniture and art. It is a perfect blend, well done!
