This charming rustic cottage was designed by Timothy Johnson Designย in collaboration with Studio B, located on Lake Joseph inย Muskoka, Ontario, Canada. Studio B provides luxury furnishings in Toronto and around the globe. The interiors of this cottage reflects a warm palette of natural wood and stone, helpingย lead the direction of the entire design scheme.
The designer worked alongside Studio B, decorating the cottage with refined furnishings andย luxurious fabrics and carpets to define rustic in a thoroughly modern way. Windows were left bare, without the use of decorative drapery treatments,ย in order to perfectly frame the mesmerizing views.
Beautifully designed interiors showcase reclaimed wood ceiling beams, wooden walls and flooring and designer furnishings. Expansive windows illuminates the interiors with natural light, while perfectly capturing the surrounding nature and water views.
What We Love: This rustic cottage offers charming details throughout, from the stone fireplace in the living room, to the reclaimed wood walls in the master bedroom. The designers did a beautiful job of mixing rustic with modern to create a livable home for all to enjoy a relaxing summer at the lake.
