This rambler style homestead in Arizona has absolutely stunning details

rambler-style-arizona-homestead-exterior

This rambler-style homestead was designed from the ground up by Studio McGee and built by Gather Projects, located in Arizona. The mix of dark and light carries from the exterior to the interior. The designer selected dark dormer windows, bronze windows, a metal roof, and fir wood with a clear sealer for the columns and awnings over the windows.

Step inside through a dutch door and you are greeted by a sunlit entry with soaring ceilings and a window that is one of the dormer windows that you see outside. Although small, this inviting entry will greet your guests with the feeling of warmth from the wood beams and charming furniture details such as the mirror with a leather strap to open up this small space.

What We Love: This rambler-style homestead offers the inhabitants a light and airy family home for living and entertaining. The exterior of this home offers fabulous curb appeal that welcomes one inside. The light-filled interiors have added warmth thanks to the wood flooring, architectural details on walls, and a layering of textures. We are loving how the designer incorporated personal touches to bring character into this home.

Since the homeowners have young children, the family room was designed to be more formal, with a separate area for casual TV watching. This space features comfortable yet sophisticated furnishings adorned with personal touches, perfect for lounging and entertaining.

Curved edges are a current hot trend in furnishings and these exquisite chairs look amazing from every angle! When designing for an open layout, the designer suggests considering how your seating will appear from every angle. They love to source pieces with curved or detailed backs or adding a console table behind a traditional sofa for a finished look.
