This completely white apartment features a brand new look thanks to a full rehabilitation of its interiors by designer Barbara Aurell of Espacio En Blanco, located in the upper area of ​​Barcelona, ​​in the district of San Gervasio, Spain. Comprised of 1,614 square feet (150 square meters) of living space, this home had been left uninhabited for quite some time and was in need of a facelift. It now features bright, open spaces, stylish design and plenty of white to boot! The whole interior was gutted, as the designer was wanting to begin from scratch, with the goal of creating comfortable and inviting interiors to be thoroughly enjoyed each day. The designer catered to the needs and desires of the homeowners, yet at the same time was given some leeway to let her imagination run wild. The only thing that was preserved in the home was the wooden windows. The finished result is an eclectic yet daring design where the owners personality shines through. They wanted a lot of white in their home, and that is definately what they got! Another integral part of the design was to have a spacious kitchen, since both the homeowners are professional chefs and were very much involved in the restoration of this space.

A youthful and lighthearted design is reflected throughout the interiors of this home. The designer has a long history of uniquely defined spaces to fit the lifestyles of the homes inhabitants. The designer is always on top of the latest trends, leading the movement in white. She has a wealth of ideas and a laboratory that holds samples of painting, photography, sculpture and literature in order to combine the experience of artists and designers that are in the current scene.

What We Love: The comprehensive reform showcases functional solutions and pieces that embrace all styles, creating an inviting home that is clean lined and comfortable.
