Designed by SHM Architects this beautiful dream home offers the perfect balance between contemporary and traditional forms, located in Highland Park, a town in central Dallas County, Texas. When conceptualzing this family home, the architects focused on creating fabulous entertaining spaces which began with the central bar.
The owners also desired expansive outdoor spaces for their two sons to enjoy, along with a main bedroom suite on the downstairs level and an overall feeling of warmth. The front door is a custom steel door that’s paint matched the windows. A crucial part of this custom design was ensuring the dividers line up between doors and windows. All of the other windows and doors in this home are made by Lincoln Windows.

What We Love: This beautiful home features bright and stylish living spaces with a focus on entertaining. Throughout the interiors, the designer did a fantastic job of creating a soothing color scheme while selecting fabrics that are durable yet comfortable. We are especially loving the owners’ spa-like bathroom with its own private courtyard and all of the windows integrated throughout, allowing natural light to flood the interiors.
