Fabulous dwelling in the Brazilian hilltops

Today we bring to you this amazing home which is the residence of architect Pedro Useche in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The three-storey home is located high up in the hills, in the sophisticated neighborhood of Morumbi. All the unique furniture pieces throughout the home are designed by the architect himself, which are modern-day, vintage inspired pieces. The construction of the 10,763 square foot (1,000 square meters) home started in 1999 and it took four years to complete this exquisite contemporary masterpiece that uses traditional and locally sourced materials.

The exterior facade is constructed of concrete and has been gradually covered with lush vegetation. The landscape features beautiful gardens and a large and welcoming swimming pool. The indoors seems to blend seamlessly with the exterior, living in harmony through the use of large windows and a double height living room with skylights. According to the architect, every part of the home has been designed to enhance illumination and ventilation throughout, creating an eco-friendly environment. The residence is also equipped with solar panels to enjoy the off grid living lifestyle. Via
