This sleek modern architectural masterpiece was designed by Dan Weber Architecture, nestled hillside in the affluent Riviera area of Santa Barbara, California. The project required an extensive remodel of a property that was originally constructed in 1964. Upon first glance of this dilapidated home, the exterior color was in a shade of pink, but it had a lot of potential with great bones and livability. The new owner was a real estate developer who wanted a home that he could entertain friends and also hold functions such as fundraisers. The new design boasts a modern, sleek design that blurs the boundaries between indoors and out. With wide expanses of wall-to-wall glass, this sophisticated home showcases expansive city views that extends all the way out to the Channel Islands. Entertaining terraces offer al fresco dining and lounging spaces to relax and enjoy the views. The finished result is a rectangular house with an iconic mid-century modern shape with post-and-beam construction and custom high-end mid-century inspired finishes.
What We Love: This is a true dream home, sleek, sexy interiors with mesmerizing views, indoor-outdoor connections and ultra clean lines. The renovation is a truly spectacular makeover, offering livable spaces and designer furnishings for anyone seeking a home that is a showpiece. What do you think, is this your style of home?
