Mediterranean charm and modern elegance harmonize in this fully renovated home by Tom Meaney Architect along with Giffin & Crane, located in Montecito, a community in Santa Barbara County, California. The homeowners had originally hired the builder to remodel their kitchen in this four-bedroom, six bathroom home.
After the success of this project, they decided to move forward with an upgrade of the detached guest cottage. Eventually the owners moved to the main house, where they renovated the home down to the studs. Working with this design-build team, the owners were able to adjust their ideas according the the site constraints and budget.

The new floor plan transformed the old disjointed layout into a flowing space, featuring sophisticated architectural lines and an appreciation of necessary comforts, while catering to the lifestyle needs of a growing family.
