This luxury hilltop residence was designed by Tom Meaney Architect in collaboration with Giffin & Crane, located in Santa Barbara, California. Designed as a holiday home, the main living spaces can accommodate the owner’s large, extended family. The terraces take advantage of panoramic world-class views across the Santa Barbara Channel.

To take advantage of the views, this six bedroom, seven bathroom contemporary home boasts a fabulous indoor-outdoor connection. Long architectural lines and 12-foot windows invite natural light inside, which features the latest in green technology.

Double-framed exterior walls with rigid-panel reflective insulation helps to keep this dwelling cooler during the summer and warmer in winter. A state-of-the-art solar system heats the pool, fuels super-efficient LED lighting, and generates surplus energy credits. All of it composed subtly inside a modern-day Mediterranean feel.
