This relaxed lake house design was created by Alexander Design Group in collaboration with Eminent Interior Design, located on Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota. This charming new build boasts panoramic views of Lake Minnetonka’s Crystal Bay. Situated on a narrow lot with unparalleled lake access, this project was all about maximizing every last inch of square footage.

There are no formal living spaces in this home. Every finish was carefully selected, as they needed to be functional, durable, and family-friendly. The interior reflects the relaxed, calm pace of lake life. A mix of serene lighting, warm tones, and bright natural colors adds to the overall sense of peace and understated elegance.

The heart of the main level is the inviting, connected great room. Highlights of the design include glass and cable rail wine storage, reclaimed wood beams, expansive glazing, a centerpiece kitchen island, and range hood, and a hidden prep kitchen for entertaining with ease. Overall, the project team helped a family make the most of their gorgeous home and its magnificent setting.
