Tour this Canadian lakefront contemporary home with outstanding details

contemporary-home-exterior

This stunning lakefront contemporary home was designed by Calbridge Homes in collaboration with Rochelle Cote Interior Design, located in Mahogany, a suburban residential neighborhood in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Spread out over two levels, this home encompasses 4,356 square feet of living space with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms.

For this project, the designers combined old-world finishes with contemporary furnishings and accessories. These two themes were married together using old world materials such as mixed metals and exposed beams and natural wood products that are also trending in the contemporary world.

I like the house but I do like the stonework…just a matter of personal taste. I especially like the use of space on the main level. It is unfortunate that the entire front of the house is garage doors…probably due to zoning and lot size.
I noticed the respect shown to FLW in the office but would like to see more of his touches in the house…but that is my taste and not a criticism.

The house is beautiful! I love the beams and use of metals. I do not like the choice of stone and the over use of it! I would also like to see a more substantial fireplace.
The colors throughout look amazing and the outdoor space is well designed! Beautiful!
