This beautiful beach house was designed by Myers Greene Architects together with Marika Meyer Studio, perched along the water’s edge of Gibson Island, Maryland. Located on the western shoreline of the Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Magothy River, Gibson Island is an idyllic, two by three mile private island.

Accessed via a private, man-made causeway, the island features varied topography, including tidal wetlands, a 44-acre spring-fed lake, and rolling hills. About one-third of the land is dedicated to home sites, while the remaining two-thirds consists of open spaces, natural woods, a bird sanctuary, and recreational areas.
