A Mediterranean style home designed by Cornerstone Architects in collaboration with Andrea Leigh Interiors is located on a beautiful lot in Rollingwood near the heart of Austin, Texas. Despite the dilapidated structure that was original to this property, it was the alluring mature live oaks that garnered the new owner’s attention to this lot. The layout and organization required a deft compilation of spaces around these gorgeous trees.
The design for this new home was inspired by the homeowner’s fascination with classic forms: traditional shapes and proportions, yet simple, clean and elegant in presentation. Natural light was critical in every room. Continuity and flow from each room demanded a virtuosic progression from public to more private areas awash in light.

What We Love: This gorgeous Mediterranean style home features a beautiful green landscape complimented by majestic live oak trees. The interior layout is open and airy, offering a harmonious flow from one living space to the next. Large windows not only allows natural light to filter through, but helps to blur the boundaries between indoors and out.
