This luxurious contemporary estate was designed by Domiteaux + Baggett, while the interiors were given a fresh and chic interior styling by Linda Fritschy Interior Design, located in Dallas, Texas. To bring harmony from the exterior through to the interior, the architects used a striking cultured stone. On the interior, the flooring throughout the living spaces is New Mexico Travertine. It has also been used on the exterior living spaces, helping to blur indoor-outdoor boundaries.
The designer approaches each interior project with a discerning perspective of color, balance and style—you will never find predictability, only variety. “I consider myself a curator, I simplify and narrow the design options. My goal is to create meaningful spaces that evokes happiness, peace and joy,” the designer tells Dallas Home Magazine.
What We Love: This luxurious contemporary estate has an air of sophistication with its use of exotic woods and stylish furnishings. There are plenty of refined details to be found throughout, including the limestone flooring and wood clad ceilings. Although contemporary in style, the heavy use of wood helps to infuse warmth into the interiors, making the home feel cozy and relaxed. Loving the indoor-outdoor connection with the walls of sliding glass and all season patio.

Above: In the kitchen, the backsplash is Ann Sacks, 2″ X 8″ tiles that ranges from deep blue to goldern brown.
Interesting Fact: The kitchen of this home received a first place award from ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) for the category of “Residential Kitchen-Contemporary”. The organization had the following to say about this magnificent space: “With its expansive view of the outdoors and central location to the family room, this kitchen is definitely the heart of the home. The kitchen offers two seating areas, as well as defined cooking and prep areas for both chefs in the house.”
Above: The paint color on the walls is Sherwin Williams Nacre #6154. The sofa in the living room is the “Mister” Sofa From Cassina.
Above: The ceiling is clad with 4×8 sheets of rift cut white oak. The ceiling was painted black so the reveals around the panels show up as black. The area rug in the living space is custom designed by Rosemary Hallgarten. The barstools are from Scott + Cooner and upholstered with a Pollack Fabric – Spotlight in Silver/Gold. In the bar area there is also an enclosed wine room, which was custom designed and kept chilled by an a/c vent. Above the custom fireplace is a dark wenge veneer around the television, helping it to blend.

Above: In the master bathroom, the countertops are a honed seagrass limestone, the cabinets are made out of a wood called “Recon Ebony”. The flooring New Mexico Travertine. The vertical vanity lights are from Artemide — 2 Square Strip in an aluminum finish.
Above: This 19’6″ wide X 46′ long covered patio features hidden screens the roll down from the ceiling. These electronic screens were sourced from MechoShade. This is an all season patio, as there area heaters installed in the ceiling. The ceiling fans are the Fanimation wet-location Zonix fan.
