This old house gets a beautiful renovation in the suburbs of Connecticut

Crisp Architects in collaboration with Morrissey Saypol Interiors has renovated this stunning old house that is located in the charming town of Stamford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. The scope of this project entailed adding a new garage, family room, and entry along with renovating most of the home, which included the kitchen.

The house was designed to be light and colorful, fit for a family with two young children. The project team honored the classic style of the house and incorporated many of the homeowner’s family pieces, while simultaneously bringing a freshness to the traditional design. There are many styles of antiques and furniture in this home: English, American, Swedish, French, and Italian.

The home is now a wonderful gathering place for friends and family, and I am sure the way it has grown would make the original owners proud.
