“With a kiss of whimsy at every turn, this custom-built seaside farmhouse depicts a fun mix of styles and color, set against pretty backdrops of white painted brick, custom millwork, and papered walls. While the architect designed this home with a clean, crisp aesthetic, the client wanted to infuse the home with a relaxed, country-coastal feel.”

“Included is a custom octopus chandelier handcrafted by an artisan in Portland and a painting of a giant bunny found while vacationing in Hawaii. The finishes we specified throughout were selected to create a neutral backdrop, allowing visual space for the colorful furnishings.”
“To further accentuate the blend of coastal and country styles, we decorated the rooms with painted furniture, floral fabrics and wall coverings, vintage finds, and collected accessories. The result? A cozy and comfortable home, perfectly tailored for these fun-loving clients.”
What We Love: This warm and inviting farmhouse-style dwelling offers comfortable yet stylish furnishings and thoughtfully curated details throughout. We are loving the wonderful indoor-outdoor connection that is quintessential Southern California living and the large windows in the great room that not only flood the space with natural light but frame views of the magnificent coastline. Overall, we think the designers did a beautiful job of outfitting this home with unique details that capture the owner’s personality.
