Ron Farris Architect in collaboration with Rachel Halvorson Designs has designed this cottage style family home located in Nashville, Tennessee. The goal of this home was to create light-filled living spaces, a maximized floor plan, and a dreamy screened porch.

Despite there being much larger houses surrounding this home, the material selection helps to keep it in character with the neighborhood. This one-and-a-half-story home was designed with simple materials, including a hand-laid stone foundation, wood siding, and a cedar shake roof. Continue below to see the inside of this dreamy home…

The exterior paint color is Simply White OC-117 | Benjamin Moore, while the front porch light fixture is from Bevolo. An oversized door welcomes one inside while also helping to make a small entry foyer feel more spacious.
