From minimalistic holiday décor lovers to Christmas decorating fanatics, Nancy and her team deliver exactly what their clients are looking for. Regardless of which direction her clients lean in, Nancy always suggests sprinkling in some familiarity and nostalgia with a modern twist.
Doing so doesn’t always feel very cohesive in general home design, but when it comes to the holidays, a mix of everything feels festive and is always welcomed!
Along with a bit of nostalgia, Nancy has an additional two go-to elements that help tie any Christmas design together: Nature and Textiles. Nancy’s always been big on nature and has been talking a lot about it recently. It’s a real passion of hers. She’s big on foraging in the backyard (side or front work too!), seeing what’s popping up with the new season, and bringing that inside.
Not only does she love finding the beautiful reds, yellows, and oranges for the Christmas season, but she even loves to see a mix of pinks, greens, and blues. Nancy also likes to remind us that It’s not just about feasting our eyes—the scents from fresh greenery and florals are also wonderful. Nancy loves trying to engage as many senses as possible in her designs for a full effect!
Textiles are another easy way that Nancy loves bringing the holiday spirit into our homes during the Christmas season. Nancy loves to bring colors that remind her of the changing season, and then layer in warmth and welcome with beautiful blankets and throws.
She’ll also change out pillows (and the throw blankets) to bring fresh energy in and tell a new story…one of holidays and happiness! This is a super simple holiday décor trick that never fails, no matter what style you’re hoping to achieve!
