We have featured a few tiny, budget-friendly houses here on One Kindesign, with each one having unique design features that we felt compelled to share with you. This compact home called “The Alpha Tiny House” is no exception. Measuring in at 24′ x 8’6″ x 13’6″ tall, its quite small, but feels spacious thanks to clever design features. We start with the outside of the home, which is aesthetically charming, with a beautiful contrasting of materials and style. Features includes shoo sugi ban cedar siding with a mechanical seam metal roof (the most leakproof metal roof available). A giant sliding glass door forms the entryway into the home on one side, while a roll-up tempered glass garage door on the other reveals a pop-out deck—pretty impressive, right? Thats not all, a custom eight person dining table also aims to impress, cleverly concealed under the kitchen.
Total cost for this home is $95,000 with everything you see displayed in the images below. Pretty impressive for this home you can locate to anywhere!
The eye-catching exterior facade entices you to want to step inside to view the home’s delightful interior details. A modern aesthetic is complimented with rustic details such as reclaimed barnwood wall and ceiling, hand hewn walnut hardwood flooring and shiplap wood siding throughout the interior. Closed-cell spray foam insulation and Typar rain screen and moisture barrier will help keep you warm and dry. With numerous notable features, one of particular mention is the custom drop down deck and awning.

What We Love: This seriously cool tiny house has so many cool features packed into a such a small design, what is not to love? The glass garage roll up door with a drop down patio is one of our favorite features (above), especially if you have a fantastic view to really get the most of that outdoor space. We also love the cozy sleeping loft and compact kitchen that offers you everything you need to cook up a great meal… and enjoy it on your custom designed dining table, which can actually host several guests!
