This Santa Barbara style home was designed by Cornerstone Architects, located in the prestigious West Lakeway neighborhood, just outside of Austin, Texas. Nestled in the Rough Hollow community, this stunning residence offers breathtaking views of Lake Travis and the Texas hill country. Comprised of a sumptuous 6,778 square feet of living space, this residence has numerous outstanding features. To start with, the home offers an inviting colonnade, lush courtyard, gorgeous guest casita and a spacious master bedroom retreat that encompasses a private outdoor covered terrace. One of the more unique features to this property is the Koi pond, which begins below a glass floor in the wine room and meanders its way through to the outdoor living area. The interior spaces of the home have been maximized by the architects to take advantage of the beautiful views that surrounds the property, most notably Lake Travis. This exquisite property was the recipient of five awards in the Rough Hollow Parade of Homes.

What We Love: Fabulous lake views, stunning construction and warm, comfortable furnishings makes this estate home very livable. We especially love the elegant outdoor living spaces with an infinity pool that is very inviting for a dip while enjoying the fabulous lake and hill country views… the master bathroom is pretty fantastic as well, very tastefully designed! The entire outdoor living space encompasses roughly 875 square feet, with a infinity pool and hot tub, lounging spaces and an outdoor kitchen to enjoy dining al fresco. On the left is the master bedroom suite, while on the right, below the staircase, is a catch pond from the waterfall of the pool.

    i don’t personally care for this style, but for what it is, it is very well done. the house has a very comfortable feel and i like the arrangement of the “compound” around the “courtyard”. i am not surprised that this design would win awards.
