Wadsworth Design Build, together with Teaselwood Design, has created this gorgeous timber-frame mountain home in Stratton, Vermont. For the design of this home, the active family was inspired by their close proximity to a popular Southern Vermont ski resort.
The interior scheme embraces natural materials, which include white oak flooring, a granite stone wall, an exquisite floating staircase composed of reclaimed wood, and shiplap and shou sugi ban wood treatments. To balance the home’s outdoor feel, the designers layered soft furnishings, delicate light fixtures, and a cool-toned color palette.
