Respecting the architectural vernacular was paramount to the design of this home. The massing is broken into two deliberate wings flanking an interior courtyard that provides a calm shelter when the winds pick up. The main hall opens fully on both sides to blur the definition of interior and exterior and allow the homeowners the capability to tailor the space as needed.

In form, the two larger masses then have the more intimate elements affixed with a varying roof pitch to both provide articulation and to clearly illustrate the program within. This is evident in the intimate dining room, which plays on the breakfast nook concept while capturing stunning views of the lake and beyond.
