In Woodinville, Washington, this wine country home is the work of Pulp Design Studios, who took on the challenge of blending two different design visions into one cohesive, ground-up build. The result is a home that balances rustic warmth with refined sophistication throughout.
The homeowners, who operate a well-known whiskey distillery, wanted a home built for entertaining, with public spaces that are open and inviting and could host family and friends throughout the year. He wanted an Acadia lodge style that reflected the mountains surrounding their country property. She wanted a more refined transitional aesthetic, with clean lines and polished finishes that would work well for gatherings.
Together, these two visions shaped a home that feels connected to nature while still offering a polished, comfortable place to live. The open-plan layout carries this balance through the main living areas, where warm woods, natural light, and modern details come together in every room.

“The home’s upstairs attic area was originally planned to be unused space. But the project team developed the idea for a media room with a built- in bar. Now it’s one of the family’s favorite spaces,” states Pulp Design Studios.
