Pearson Design Group is responsible for the design of this rustic-modern mountain dwelling, nestled among the surrounding mountain slopes of Big Sky Country, Montana. This beautiful masterpiece is called “Sunshine Daydream”, an incredible retreat designed for family gatherings and entertaining. Inside this marvelous pad, you will find a classic palette of rustic materials mixed with touches of modern.
Reclaimed materials ground the structure in a natural Western aesthetic while steel and bronze details give it modern edges. Pops of bold colors hint at a fun and entertaining atmosphere and fill the rooms throughout the home, such as the wall of custom sage green La Cornue ranges in the kitchen or the bunkroom inspired by a couple of cherry red Volkswagen buses. What We Love: This rustic-modern mountain dwelling offers a beautiful atmosphere to spend time relaxing with family and friends. Large windows frame views of this home’s spectacular mountainous surroundings, where outdoor activities are plentiful. We are especially loving the novel concept in the kids’ bedroom, with the Volkswagen-inspired bunk beds!
