This modern mountain retreat has been given an incredible Christmas makeover by Studio McGee, located in the luxury community of Wolf Creek Ranch, outside of Park City, Utah. Approaching the front door, the designer applied a layered look with a doormat overtop of an indoor/outdoor rug. The doormat is from Terrain. Plenty of greenery adorns the front door, welcoming guests inside. This includes garland and wreaths with bells tied on with ribbon. Christmas trees in concrete planters flank either side of the entry.
For this Christmas makeover, the designer wanted to create a look inside this home that is modern, yet warm and cozy. She used a traditional Christmas color palette, loaded with plenty of greenery. The inspiration was drawn from the tranquil mountain setting that surrounds this home, bringing the outdoors in.
What We Love: This gorgeous mountain home showcases a Christmas makeover that has been tastefully decorated to make guests feel welcome. There is just enough Christmas feeling in this home that makes it perfectly in keeping with the overall design aesthetic. We are especially loving all of the greenery, the charming stockings above the fireplace, and those iron zinc houses on the living room console table!
