Thoughtfully positioned amongst old growth trees, this residence showcases spectacular views of Lake Keowee at every turn. Material selection and planning of this home was inspired by the English Arts & Crafts movement. As an added bonus, this fabulous lake house masterpiece was designed to meet USGBC LEED for Home standards.
Inside, you will find a stunning great room which leads out to the main level terrace. This space offers picture perfect views of the lake through an expansive wall of limestone-cased windows. An impressive floor-to-ceiling fireplace is clad in coursed limestone, accented by a 163“ high 19th Century iron door from Italy, which anchors the sitting area. This impressive home was awarded the US Green Building Council LEED Silver Certification.

Exterior Features: Slate roof; coursed and smooth limestone; tongue & groove cedar siding; brick and limestone masonry; heavy timber detailing; limestone trim; copper gutters & downspouts; pervious pavers; standing seam copper roof; custom and reclaimed wrought iron hand railing.
Green Features: Intentional day lighting, solar thermal water heating, solar photovoltaic array, lake loop geothermal HVAC, extensive use of reclaimed and locally sourced natural materials, rain water harvesting, use of native plants in the landscape design, and hypoallergenic interiors w/ VOC-free finishes; Low-E aluminum clad windows.
