This spectacular beach house was designed by HausDesign Studio in collaboration with Lisa Teague Design Studios, located along the white sandy beaches of Longboat Key, Florida. Positioned on the north end of the key, this residence sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Encompassing 3,000 square feet of living space, this energy-efficient beach house was constructed by Blue Water Construction.
The project challenged the design team to site the home as close as possible to the beach while still retaining privacy from the neighboring homes. Designed to capitalize on the magnificent water views, the main living area is connected to the outdoors via NanaWall bifold doors. A covered patio can be enclosed to protect from the elements, while ideally connecting to the deck and infinity edge swimming pool.
For the interior design of this new project, design firm Lisa Teague Design Studios was involved right from the beginning. The designers consulted on the site, architectural design, interior, and exterior palette along with full-scale interior design and space planning. The designers purchased and installed all of the furnishings, art, and accessories to create an overall warm and inviting atmosphere for this beach house.
What We Love: With comfortable living spaces abound, this energy-efficient beach house offers captivating ocean vistas. An inviting infinity edge pool and spa provides a welcoming spot to cool off from the heat of the Florida sun. Loungers provides homeowners and guests with relaxation, to enjoy the tranquil waters of the Gulf Coast. Entertaining spaces are in abundance, offering the homeowners the perfect opportunity to share their heavenly oasis with family and friends.
