Fall is already here, and if you haven’t yet done so, it is time to decorate your fireplace mantel (real or faux) to help celebrate the holiday season. The fireplace is a cozy spot for family to congregate, especially during the holiday season. It symbolizes warmth and creates a nice ambiance to any room in your home. Decorating your mantel for fall will help to brighten up your space and make it feel festive. The decor you select depends on your what style you would like to see and what touches you want to infuse into your interior scheme. You may wish to decorate with neutrals, or add some bursts of color to make this the focal point of your space. To add some rusticity to your scheme, think of using materials of burlap and check fabrics. Infuse in some natural elements of vegetables (real or faux), pumpkins, wreaths, berries, moss, fruits, varied nuts such as chestnuts, Indian corn, dried leaves, and branches. For all of these items, faux will be much easier to maintain, depending on the look your are trying to achieve.
To create a more festive touch, try adding some glitter lettering on a sign, pumpkins painted with metallics, bold wreaths and garlands full of fall leaves. Maybe you would prefer to add a more modern, sophisticated theme to your fireplace mantel. If this is the case, try selecting white pumpkins or metallic pumpkins, candle holders to add some ambiance and sprinkle in some faux leaves. A simple glass vase with some fresh or faux branches can create a stunning aesthetic. Have a look below through our collection of fall fireplace mantels that will help you get inspired to decorate your own! And remember, if you don’t have a fireplace, you can still buy a shelf, mount it on your wall anywhere you want to infuse fall, and copy one of these looks. Enjoy!
