This incredibly serene Rosemary Beach house has amazing waterfront views

beach house exterior

Interior designer Ashley Gilbreath reimagined this casual and serene seaside house as her family getaway in Rosemary Beach, a community in Walton County, Florida. The designer created a serene escape for her family of five, one that could withstand the element of the salty sea air and be durable enough for a family living — sandy feet and wet bathing suits.

The exterior facade of this ’90s gulf-front home was left intact. On the interior, the designer traded traditional beachy blues for the lush greens of the palms so often seen down at the beach. A spiral staircase was removed to enhance the flow of the floor plan, while the floors were given a facelift with oak hardwood flooring.

What We Love: This serene beach house is bright and beautiful with fresh pops of green throughout. The balcony is the ultimate perch for enjoying seaside views and a casual meal with family. We just love the kitchen, with its light and airy aesthetics from the white, green, and wood color palette. The eye-catching globe pendant lights are the icing on the cake. Overall, a beautifully redesigned home that provides a family with a fabulous beachside getaway,
