This dream home is more than the passion project of Design Solution’s Luciana Fragali, more than an elegant showpiece of contemporary Miami design. The 6,000-square-foot paradise is also her personal residence, the place where she and her husband will “raise our kids and build amazing memories, which is what we believe life is all about.”

The vision of her dream home began when she visited the property and was enchanted by a 400-year-old banyan tree. The house, just a shell at the time, still under construction, was originally intended by its developers to be a spec home. The natural beauty of that tree, however, with its majestic charm, inspired her. She knew that was where she had to create her family’s home.

Fragali, one of Miami’s top interior designers, worked together with architect Cesar Molina of CMA Design Studio to transform the space into a personal oasis of Old Florida character with South Miami style.

With the banyan tree as the property’s centerpiece, Fragali selected natural materials to incorporate the beauty and allure of the outdoors inside: split-cut coral stone, Natori Azul polished marble, chestnut doors, a custom-made round pink onyx table, a stone accent wall, and other organic elements. 

Throughout the home, Fragali selected a neutral color palette. Hues of walnut, bronze, moss, and ivory create a calm, organic ambiance. Her collection of fine art, furniture, and other treasures from the family’s extensive travels further gives the home a charismatic, personalized touch.

Other features such as custom millwork, a state-of-the-art kitchen, custom cabinetry, a Dew Drops chandelier by Boris Klimek, and built-in displays, House L.F. is a one-of-a-kind example of Miami luxury, sophistication, and comfort.

The home is truly a testament to Fragali’s passion for design and her firm’s commitment to detail. It’s now a gorgeous, inviting space that, as Fragali put it, “came together magnificently.”
