A peek inside this incredibly inspiring home makeover in Corona del Mar

Mindy Gayer Design has reimagined this inspiring home with serene and inviting interiors located in Corona del Mar, a seaside neighborhood in the city of Newport Beach, California. Taking a year-and-a-half to complete, this home showcases both feminine and effortless details throughout to make it feel warm and welcoming.

The designer incorporated a neutral color palette for most of the finishes and decor while incorporating touches of blush as the main accent color throughout the interior living spaces. The homeowner has an affinity for pink, and the designer wanted to make this home feel timeless and feminine at the same time.

For this remodel, the designer wanted to ensure that the homeowner had an abundance of options for both entertaining and relaxing outside of the dwelling. They created both a comfortable and inviting sitting area in the front of the home, a cozy sitting area in the courtyard, and a rooftop deck for entertaining. These spaces were created to complement the surrounding coastal environment. This includes light woods, grayish/green hues, and neutral anchor pieces.

Stunning! I love your laundry room colors! Could you tell me where you got your wallpaper in the laundry room? Thanks!

I just can not get into the “Early Man” looks of primitive furniture, pottery and art pieces. All the furniture looks very uncomfortable and for the homeowner who loves pink, I just saw a pillow, 1 poster and some hand towels that has a touch of pink in them. I do like the kitchen and the half bath. Looks like the home was built by Patterson Homes, the best builder in Southern California imo, so I love the home itself.
