Step inside an absolutely stunning mountainside retreat in Park City, Utah

contemporary-mountainside-retreat-exterior

This contemporary mountainside retreat was designed by Lloyd Architects in collaboration with Studio McGee, nestled in the community of Victory Ranch in Park City, Utah. Created as a beautiful vacation home for a large family who has a soft, contemporary style. They wanted it to be a soothing and calming and soothing retreat where they could enjoy the beauty of the mountains for years to come.

Stepping inside this home, the designer had enough space to adorn the foyer with both a round table and a console table. The wall next to the staircase was originally just drywall, so the designer opted to create a wall panelling system that goes behind the stairs and into the basement level. Built-ins help to personalize the space.

All of the furnishings of this Park City mountainside retreat were kept calming and neutral. The owner loves a soft palette, so the designer infused as much texture and interest as possible to compliment. This was accomplished with curved lines, varying textures on the furnishings and different wood tones on the floor and ceiling, along with mixed metals.
