3. This beautiful kitchen in Westlake, Texas has a stone feature wall that brings an earthy touch among the pristine white. This kitchen uses Wood-Mode and Brookhaven Cabinetry. The dimensions are 23′ x 13′ with the island being approximately 10′ x 3′. A trend right now is to include the pantry in the cabinetry and not have a separate space. The countertops are statuary marble. The refrigerator hardware is from Top Knobs. The cabinetry is select alder, meaning without knots, while the countertops are Natural Quartz. The hood is made of custom steel panels that interlock. 6. In this mountain home kitchen, the stone feature wall is a 5-6″ natural farmer’s stone veneer (with tones of brown and gray) on a wood-framed wall- for the insulation value. The stone is a custom blend of 4 types of field stone. The cabinets are a Bulthaup B3 cabinet system. The floor is a standard concrete floor that was poured in place with a smooth finish. Acid-based concrete coloring was then applied several times to get the desired color level and expansion joints were cut in the field, and then the slab was sealed.
