New Jersey-based designer Toledo Geller is responsible for the interiors of this sophisticated seaside haven located in Mantoloking, a borough in Ocean County, New Jersey. The borough is a Jersey Shore community situated on the Barnegat Peninsula, also known as Barnegat Bay Island, a long, narrow barrier island that separates Barnegat Bay from the Atlantic Ocean.
This inspiring home features on-trend yet timeless cabinets, countertops, tiles, and finishes to create a desirable home for family living. The living spaces, kitchen, and bathrooms are washed in a natural color palette inspired by shades of the sand and sea. Combined with the furniture’s clean lines and practical touches throughout, this dwelling conveys an air of tranquility and quiet restraint that avoids beach house cliché.
THE BACKSTORY
A contractor brought the interior designers on board to furnish a for-sale vacation house on the Jersey Shore. When a potential buyer offered to purchase it unfurnished, the designers were tasked with repurposing the contents for another newly constructed home.

Above: In this kitchen, the designer incorporated a butcher-block chopping station on casters and white oak wood boards on the island and sink wall. The heavy use of wood with the white cabinetry helps to add warmth and texture to the space.
What We Love: This sophisticated seaside haven offers a warm and welcoming environment that is inspired by its beachside setting. Living spaces invite one sit to back and relax while enjoying the tranquility of a relaxed beach house lifestyle. Overall we think the designers did a fabulous job of repurposing furnishings to create a stylish yet casual beach-chic vibe.
