Luminous coastal-chic home offers a relaxed vibe in Beach Haven

Coastal-Chic Beach Home-Chango Co-01-1 Kindesign

This coastal-chic home was designed by Brooklyn-based design studio Chango & Co., located on a beachfront setting in Beach Haven, a borough in Ocean County, New Jersey. The interior design of this breezy five-bedroom beach house was inspired by its surroundings. This summer house features a whitewashed interior and a layering of natural textures that helps to bring the outdoors in. The color palette is predominantly white, with splashes of blue for a nautical aesthetic.

Expansive windows help to illuminate the interiors with natural light, while large picture windows frame the views of the peaceful seaside setting. The homeowners requested that the designers give their new home a bespoke feel. The designers were charged with painting and decorating this summer home with custom furnishings and beach-inspired accessories.

What We Love: This coastal-chic home offers its inhabitants a dreamy seaside getaway chalk-full of warmth and character. The designers began with a white canvas, layering in a fantastic mix of bright hues and textures for visual interest and warmth. The master bedroom and the dining room are our two favorite spaces. They were both light-filled, clean-lined and feature amazing light fixtures… Readers, please share with us what details in this home most inspires you and why in the comments below!
