A look inside a West Palm Beach house with coastal-chic interiors

This West Palm Beach, Florida home by Krista + Home showcases a fresh and bright color palette of airy whites and crisp, clean lines with nautical influences. Overlooking the Harbour Point Marina, this contemporary coastal home was in desperate need of an overhaul, being very dated with interior spaces that were very closed off. The designer tore down walls to create a floor plan of open and airy spaces that are refreshing and welcoming.

The design scheme features hues of white, grays, blues and bright splashes of aqua to create a coastal, contemporary aesthetic that is very pleasing to the eye. Layers of textures and patterns come together playfully without being overly fussy. The open living and kitchen area is the perfect layout for both cooking and entertaining.

The kitchen features a cozy, sunlit breakfast nook. The living area features a warm and cozy fireplace with comfortable seating for lounging or reading a good book. A sliding barn door separates this space from a playroom, which can be left open to add an air of spaciousness.

What We Love: The soothing color palette of ocean-inspired hues makes this West Palm Beach house feel very relaxing. The kitchen is very inviting, we can just imagine coming home from a long day of playing at the beach to sitting at the island with a glass of wine in hand…and the master bathroom is very dreamy! What do you guys think, are you inspired by coastal homes?

Note: In case you missed it, we featured another house tour from the talented interior designer, Krista Watterworth, right here: Tour a gorgeous equestrian home with casual-luxe interiors in Florida.
