The warmth that radiates throughout the interiors is courtesy of the blend of organic and tactilely appealing materials and the calm, neutral palette. Above: A row of metal bars separates the entry from the dining room. The chandelier above the table is from Modern Artifax, the perfect size for above the table. The muted blue area rug compliments the art in the entryway and harmonizes both spaces.

Above: The wood-and-white kitchen in the newly-built home worked well for the couple and just needed a few modern touches like the sleek matte black pendant lights, sturdy leather and iron counter stools.

Above: The kitchen opens up into the family room and with family gatherings being a priority for the homeowner’s, it had to provide plenty of seating and easy-clean, hard working surfaces. The hefty reclaimed-wood coffee table balances out the substantial sofas. This room has ample seating that includes two side chairs, a custom bench off the fireplace hearth and several moveable poufs.

Above: An alcove beyond the staircase was transformed into a private office. A deep blue and gold geometric wallpaper provides the perfect backdrop for the wood tones of the desk and shelves and really defines the space nicely.

Above: The downstairs powder bathroom features an existing stacked copper stone and floating marble sink. The designers added the low-hanging light fixture to add visual interest and more directed light to the room.

Above: Upstairs you will find a second living area (his domain), guest bedrooms and a yoga studio (her domain). In the “man cave”, a television was mounted to a custom wood backboard. Shelves were added for game balls and helmets. The custom designed wood bar and bar stools behind the sofa give plenty of space for friends to sit and eat while watching the game.

Above: The massive white oak sliding door separating the yoga studio from the hallway was custom made. Special sliding hardware was sourced to accommodate the weight.

Above: The guest bedroom features a vaulted ceiling and an indigo, gray and white color scheme. Modern-rustic perfection! The bench at the foot of the bed and accent chair provide plenty of space for guests to unpack and stay awhile.

Above: To give the guest bathroom a one-of-a-kind look, the original mirror was replaced by a matte black metal one from Four Hands. The modern matte gold light fixtures are from Cedar + Moss.

Above: The master bedroom retreat features picture windows and stunning nature views. This light flooded space was ideal during the day, but need remote-controlled blackout shades for sleeping. It completely covers the window and can be lowered and raised with the touch of a button.

Above: The wall sconces flanking either side of the bed are from West Elm. Indigo pillows and blanket are from West Elm, while the center pillow is by Urbanology Designs.

Above: This custom chaise lounge in the master bedroom offers an ideal spot to put on shoes or enjoy a good book. Durable Crypton performance fabric was used for the upholstery. The Urbanology Designs pillows on the chaise and bed bring small leather details into the room while complimenting the other leather details throughout the house.
