This gorgeous lake house was designed with sustainable features by Johnston Design Group in collaboration with Linda McDougald Design, located in Keowee Springs, South Carolina. Thoughtfully positioned amongst old growth trees, this residence showcases spectacular views of Lake Keowee at every turn. Material selection and planning of this home was inspired by the English Arts & Crafts movement. As an added bonus, this fabulous lake house masterpiece was designed to meet USGBC LEED for Home standards.

Inside, you will find a stunning great room which leads out to the main level terrace. This space offers picture perfect views of the lake through an expansive wall of limestone-cased windows. An impressive floor-to-ceiling fireplace is clad in coursed limestone, accented by a 163โ€œ high 19th Century iron door from Italy, which anchors the sitting area. This impressive home was awarded the US Green Building Council LEED Silver Certification.
