Take a peek inside this gorgeous entertainment barn in Tennessee

This beautiful country home was custom designed as an entertainment barn by Norris Architecture, nestled on 20 acres in Memphis, Tennessee. Designed to appear as a barn and function as an entertainment space, this home provides ample places to host overnight guests. The barn was the first phase of a larger estate. Once the estate is complete, this will look like the barn for this country property.

Overlooking a man-made lake, the design of this farmhouse was inspired by old stone barns of New England. The architects used reclaimed wood timbers and siding inside.

Project Team: Architect: Norris Architecture / Interior Design: Post 31 Interiors / Landscape Architect: Wantland Ink Landscape Architecture

Interior design studio Post 31 Interiors worked with the architects from conception to completion, creating a “rustic luxe” interior, masculine married to feminine home. Velvet, leather, linen, hair on hide and silk, provide soft texture to the patina of the authentic reclaimed wood throughout the home.

I love renovated barns. The old wood and stone is lovely. The huge expanse of the space with the vaulted ceilings is beautiful. It feels a bit like a cathedral. The views are gorgeous with all the windows. I love rustic yet comfortable.
