This chic coastal style home designed by Kristina Crestin Design is located in the North Shore, a beach community north of Boston, Massachusetts. The homeowner’s requested the designer renovate their home with a new design style: adding a coastal vibe. They also had a generic built-in television cabinet that they wanted re-built into a custom design. The designer fulfilled these wishes, adding seaside-inspired colors and accessories into the home. Eclectic pieces and mixed with a layering of textures.
The wood stove in the corner of the living room was sourced from a company called ‘Jotul‘. The sofa, coffee table and area rug selections were to-the-trade-only pieces, so the designer had them custom ordered for the space. The Diana floor lamp next to to the mossy green sofa was sourced from Visual Comfort. The leather chair on caster was designed by Cisco Brothers and sourced from Mohr & McPherson. The teal chair was also designed by Cisco Brothers, covered in Com fabric from Kravet.

What We Love: This coastal style home has a wonderful casual feel with plenty of charming details. The color palette feels very serene and relaxing. The eclectic pieces the designer selected adds a subtle visual interest, such as the built-in console and recessed opening for the television in the living room. The fireplace tucked into the corner of the living room adds to the overall ambiance of the space.
