What We Love About This Home
This beautiful home showcases a soothing color palette and light and airy living spaces. A wonderful indoor-outdoor connection has been established throughout this home thanks to large windows that help to bring in the views and natural light. We are especially loving the great room with its stunning chef’s kitchen and sliding glass doors that open this space up to the sumptuous backyard.

White Oak Kitchen Island and Shelves
Above: This spacious and inviting kitchen measures 428 square feet (15 by 28½ feet) and is centered around an expansive island for gathering with family and friends. The kitchen is part of an open floor plan with the breakfast nook and family room, which faces the backyard pool and patio. It is the heart of the home, styled to be elegant yet casual. The custom black metal range hood is by Raw Urth Designs. The island counter stools are called Amalfi Counter Stool.
Above: Highlights of this kitchen include white shaker-style perimeter cabinets painted in White Dove OC-17 | Benjamin Moore (a warm white). The island is rift-sawn white oak with a natural sealed satin finish. The floating shelves are white oak. The designer employed layers of color in the room for added warmth. The quartzite countertops are Calacatta Storm and are a rare find. The backsplash is a 5-by-5-inch Cloe tile from Bedrosian Tile & Stone. The island countertop is 6′ x 10′ and it is one single slab.
Designer tip: In an all-white kitchen, the designer likes to layer in warmth through material choices: white oak and painted white cabinets as a neutral base, bronze hardware, a multicolor tile backsplash, warm gray Calacatta Storm quartzite counters, and brass-and-black light fixtures. The result is varied textures and tones that still feel cohesive.
