Above: The fireplace stone is a custom mix of Creative Mines ledge stone. The white oak mantle has a custom stain to match other custom stained beams and cabinetry. The board and batten above the fireplace mantel are painted in the color Clunch — Farrow & Ball.
Custom Staircase: A Standout Design Moment
Above: This staircase railing was custom-made in Utah by The Steel Guy, and the newel posts and handrails were custom-built by the finish carpenter and stained by the painter with a custom-mixed stain to match the flooring.

Above: The powder bathroom walls are painted in Sherwin-Williams African Gray (SW 9162) at 50%. The vanity is a custom design by Simons Design Studio and was built by Masterpiece Commercial Millwork in Lindon, Utah. The stain color is also a custom stain, while the black strips are inset metal. On the floor, a hex ceramic tile — 7″ diameter. Wire baskets set on the bottom shelf are the Threshold brand from Target!

Above: The bathroom vanity and countertop are both custom. The sinks are the Kohler Ladena sink, but the countertop actually dips in the middle to make it feel like the sink is a “farm sink” style. They are under-mount sinks. Similar light fixtures are the Industrial Triangle Shade Swing Arm Wall Sconce — Shades of Light.
