Above: This chic kitchen features an expansive island and a backsplash tile that reaches from the countertops to the ceiling, making a bold statment. Moroccan-inspired tile backsplash. The inspiration derives from Moroccan tile. In particular, the curvaceous shape is a nod to globally-inspired style.

Above: A classic white apron front sink is positioned to take in the natural surroundings of the wooded property, making the chore of cleaning up after a meal somewhat enjoyable. Quartzite countertops were selected for the material’s natural beauty, strength, and durability for a life well lived in. A pair of articulating sconces in polished nickel with matte white shades flank the kitchen windows.

Above: The cabinetry features hardware in a light bronze patina that is hand applied on the metal to create a naturally aged appearance and will lighten where touched frequently. The handmade artisanal detailing of the hardware provides a beautiful contrast to the cabinet’s soft gray finish.

Above: In the family room, a 24-inch chandelier of hand-rubbed antique brass and clear glass features a living finish that patinas over time.
