With an inviting connection to nature, this contemporary dwelling is located in the resort town of Bodrum, Turkey, designed by Istanbul architectural studio Ofist. The stylish interiors, inspired by its fashion industry inhabitants, showcase blue accents to reflect the nearby Mediterranean Sea. Even though the winters are not that harsh in this part of the region, the volumnious, open concept living room features a Focus fireplace to infuse the space with warmth. Picture windows frame the serene ocean and lush landscaping of the surrounding property. Material elements incorporated into the design scheme includes stone, wood and iron with local influences. This home is a retreat for the family of four to come and visit as they wish throughout the year, therefore it was important to create inviting spaces with comfortable and furnishings. Sliding doors connects the indoors with the outdoors, allowing natural light and fresh ventilation to penetrate the interior spaces.
What We Love: The interior styling of the home is very simple yet sophisticated with its stone clad walls; homely in its casual furnishings yet elegant with wood clad flooring and factory glass windows separating the living area from the kitchen and dining spaces. This home has a nice design aesthetic chalk full of inspiration, what do you think, are you left feeling inspired? Please let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
