This lovely light-filled house was designed by Haven Design and Construction, located in the Woodland Heights neighborhood, a historic district in Houston, Texas. The design firm was responsible for the interior finishes and material selections of this new construction home.

Above: Coffered ceilings and crisp wainscoting are highlights of this gorgeous dining room. The stately chandelier and relaxed woven shades set the stage for the dining table and chairs.

Above: This radiant living room is highlighted by ample built-in storage and a stately fireplace surrounded with herringbone marble tile. The beautiful woodwork and inviting furnishings make this home a comfortable place to greet guests or simply relax with family in the evenings.

Above: In the living room, the custom built-in cabinets are illuminated by windows above. Designer Tip: If you don’t have much wall space for artwork, try displaying smaller art on an acrylic stand (as seen atop the built-in cabinetry displayed here). A comfortable chair and woven side table complete this cozy space.

Above: This crisp white kitchen is both charming and inviting. Casual white dishes are visible through glass cabinetry and woven barstools add a relaxed vibe.

Exquisite lighting fixtures complete the space.

Above: This crisp and clean laundry room is ideally located upstairs amongst this home’s four bedrooms. A wall-mounted drying rack can be easily folded away when not in use. The textured backsplash tile adds a hint of blue to this space.
