Architect Bruce Tolar in collaboration with Urban Grace Interiors has designed this family beach house located in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. The property is tucked between the edge of the Port Washington state forest and the bayou, where the woodlands meet the coast.
This 3,600 square foot house is the designer’s personal family home. She took a different approach for her personal home than what she traditionally does for her clients. Her motto is if she sees something she loves, she puts it in her house. Despite her eclectic choices, the finished design is cohesive and inviting. It beautifully merges indoor-outdoor living and seamlessly moves from relaxation to activity.
Above: From the exterior facade, this home appears like a high-end fish camp. The dark green color blends with the surroundings of longleaf pine and live oaks. Beautiful mahogany doors invite you into the entrance of this charming home.

We are loving the screened porch and the outdoor activities this home has to offer, from the treehouse to the boat dock for evening sunset cruises. The overall design is warm and inviting with unique details at every turn.
