Nice sunset photography. Entry stairs bothersome. Walls of glass and 14 ft ceiling pretty but wicked cooling-heating costs.Love the drop-down kitchen accent slats. Nice use of stone. Cool project.

the reason for the wide overhangs is to reduce the amount of direct sunlight entering the house during the hottest parts of the day.
