Carney Logan Burke Architects are responsible for the design of this rustic and refined home, nestled on a hillside amidst the beauty of the Snake River canyon in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This modern sanctuary sings with a delicate harmony of exquisite details: Carlo Moretti lamps, Poltrona Frau chairs, and work by our featured artists. On the exterior, stone and barn wood siding contrasts with smooth copper elements, while its roof peaks mimic the scenic ridgeline.
Project Team: Exterior Architecture: Carney Logan Burke Architects | Interior Architecture: WRJ Design Associates | Contractor: Teton Heritage Builders
When designing for this home, the project team emphasized a contemporary aesthetic, focusing on clean lines with minimal wood trim. This created a quiet and calming interior space. The top priority when planning for the design was learning how the homeowners planned to use the house. Lifestyle should come before style, it is important to design around how you are going to live in the home, now just how it looks. Great design lifts the soul!
What We Love: This refined home offers a warm and inviting experience beginning with the moment one enters through the front door. The interiors welcome you in with a calming palette, a layering of opulent textures and soft, natural light. Overall this home is in perfect harmony with its surroundings. There is a sense of tranquility as you move throughout the interiors, where no detail has been overlooked.
Tell Us: What do you think of the overall design of this home? If this were yours, are there any details in the design that you would do differently? Please share your thoughts in the Comments below!
