This beautiful lake house is the work of design-build firm Kroiss Development in collaboration with Lenox House Design, located on Tonka Bay, Minnesota. The design team created a beautiful two-story home with the back of the property maximizing views of the lovely Lake Minnetonka. The interior designers styled this cottage with an equestrian influence, creating an overall warm and inviting family home.
Above: The exterior facade of this home features three different paint colors: White Dove OC-17 | Benjamin Moore, Equestrian Gray 1553 | Benjamin Moore and River Reflections 1552 | Benjamin Moore. The roof shingles are a JamesHardie product. They give the distinct look of cedar shingles with less maintenance and add instant character.
What We Love: This Lake Minnetonka house offers relaxing living spaces both indoors and out. The project team cleverly configured a floor plan layout that maximizes idyllic views of the water. We are drooling over this bright and airy lakeside dwelling, its stylish, warm and ultra-inviting.
Readers, what do you think of this lake house? Are there any details in the design that you would have liked to have seen done differently? Please share your thoughts in the Comments below, we love reading your feedback!

Above: The kitchen cabinets features a mix of enamel painted and natural wood. The natural wood is ash with a natural satin polyurethane finish on it. This helps to highlight the grain of the wood. Custom made serving trays match the cabinets (shown below the windows of the cabinetry on the far left).
